Our first 100 listings start with a proper introduction
Why we're starting with ten personal maker introductions, free listings, and a commitment to keep showing up.
A launch deserves some attention
Finishing an app and finding people who care about it are different jobs. A maker can have a working product and still struggle to explain it in a way that reaches the right person. StarterLaunch gives independent apps and digital tools a free place to introduce themselves.
We are growing, and we will keep going until we reach our first 100 published listings. That is a commitment to keep working, not a claim that we already have a large audience. We want to earn that audience with useful discoveries and attention to the people behind them.
Ten makers, ten individual introductions
We are starting by working closely with ten creators. Each introduction will center on the app's intended user, the problem it addresses, and a concrete part of the workflow. We will use information the maker provides and describe only what we can support.
A published listing is the starting point. The creator can send us its URL, a few sentences about who the app helps, the reason they made it, and their X handle if they want to be tagged. We will prepare the introduction with that context and give the maker a chance to correct factual details before sharing it.
What a free listing includes
Paste a website or app-store link, review the imported draft and images, and publish a public product page. Visitors can explore by category, follow the link to your app, and upvote products they want to support. Makers can see listing views, website clicks, and upvotes in My launches.
New public listings are also queued for an introduction on X with their product details and available images. After publication, the creator receives the post link by email. A payment or a follow is not required. Optional paid promotion on StarterLaunch is separate, clearly labeled, and does not purchase votes or change a Listing score.
What we want to learn
We want to learn which introductions make a product easier to understand, which discussions bring interested visitors, and where the submission experience needs work. We will ask the first ten creators for feedback after their feature and look at the response together.
A listing view is not proof that someone used the product. An outbound click is not a sale. We will keep those distinctions clear and use actual feedback rather than inventing success stories. As the directory grows, useful themed selections and maker stories can help readers find tools for a particular task.
Bring something you believe in
If you have a working app, game, SaaS product, or digital tool, you can publish a basic listing for free. You do not need an existing audience or a paid promotion to take part.
After publishing, email your listing URL to info@starterlaunch.net with the problem your app solves. Tell us what you want people to understand about it. That is where a personal introduction begins.
